Mehta Sachin, MD, retinal specialist

Sachin Mehta, M.D. graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH in 2000 with a degree in Microbiology. He then attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where he graduated with honors in 2004. He returned to Columbus for his medical internship, and he then went on to residency training at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Mehta completed a 2-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, where he received the prestigious J. Donald M. Gass Fellowship Award. Dr. Mehta has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and he has spoken and/or presented at numerous national ophthalmology meetings. He is a presently a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Retina Specialists.
